MARRIAGE: To Be Compiled Andrew married, under the banns of The United Free Church of Scotland, Helen McKay while he was based at Fort George, the regimental home of his battalion, the 2nd Seaforth Highlanders. A year younger than her new husband at 20, Helen worked as a waitress in Edinburgh, where she lived at 64 Dumbiedykes Road, - also where the ceremony took place - which lies directly opposite the new Scottish Parliament today. Witnessing their marriage were Alexander McKay and Flora Lothian .
